The big reason I’ve always loved art so much is the way it makes me look at the world; always with an artist’s eye and with curiosity.
Whether I’m in a gallery, on a trip, at the beach, in the garden, looking out at a view, on a stroll, my eye is always wandering.
My sketchbook is never far away, recording colours, textures, shapes; ideas for the next painting. Thinking about how I would change something that catches my eye into my style. Head bursting with ideas.
